FEATURED ARTIST

Daniel Iroh

Cincinnati, Ohio

Daniel is a self-taught photographer who primarily works in medium format film. His recent work focuses on intimate studio portraits shot on black and white film, contrasting with his At Home series where he captures subjects with color film within the sanctuary of their living spaces. Against a white(sometimes black or grey) backdrop, Daniel hopes to create timeless portraits of the remarkable people he's encountered throughout his six years as a Cincinnati-based creative.

With Love & Light
Cintia Villalobos and Daniel Iroh explore portraiture as a way of observing what it means to be human. Both artists, shaped by immigrant backgrounds, bring a distinct sensitivity to the act of seeing and representing others.

Working within the studio, each artist approaches the subject through a different visual language: Daniel uses black and white with a minimal lighting setup, while Cintia uses color and a more layered use of light.

Together, their work offers two perspectives grounded in the same intention: to observe, to understand, and to hold space for real people in front of the camera.
